Steph Gove, an Arab American solopreneur earned her BA from the University of Rhode Island, received her integrative health coach professional training at Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, NC and is Qualified to teach MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) through UMass Medical School's Center for Mindfulness. She is also a certified instructor of MB-BP (Mindfulness-Based Blood Pressure Reduction) through Brown's School of Public Health.
Recognized as a highly motivated and results driven professional coach with more than twelve years experience utilizing behavioral change theory, she has counseled a diverse group of clients from C-level executives to historically underserved populations.
Prior to opening IHS, she served as a full-time health coach for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island’s health management division: The Health & Wellness Institute.
She maintains a daily mindful meditation practice and is a strong believer in the therapeutic benefits of meditation. Having completed UMass Memorial Health's (formerly UMass Medical School’s) Center for Mindfulness Teacher Development Intensive (TDI) and Teacher Training Practicum in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), she is qualified to lead and has been offering the complete 8-week program since 2014.
