Clients learn about the inter-connectedness and impact that nutrition, exercise, rest and play all have on their overall wellbeing.

Through the coaching process, clients develop a personalized health plan that makes sense for their life.

IHS clients are more resiliant, energetic and better equipped to manage their stress.

Why is Integrative Health Coaching effective in helping people realize their optimal health?

Your coach works with the whole you, listens to your concerns and asks powerful questions to help motivate you to make the changes you desire.

She spends time exploring what is most important to you–meaning–you choose your course of action from one of the 7 areas of self-care.

Your coach guides you through a process to maximize the possibility of your success.

You work in partnership to identify obstacles to change and create strategies for moving forward toward your goals.

She supports you in tracking your weekly progress and holds you accountable for your commitments.

Your coach provides additional resources for making healthy behavior changes (from both conventional and complimentary medicine).

Coaching is not to be a replacement for your regular doctor or counseling visits but can be a great support in your progress.

With your consent – IHS can work in collaboration with your primary care physician and/or mental health counselor to coordinate care.

What expectations should a client have when beginning coaching?

Your initial appointment is meant to jumpstart the coaching relationship and typically will last for 45 minutes. During that first session you and your coach will be designing how you will work together, which will include anything you wish to say about how you want to be coached and what tools and structures she brings. You will help her gain understanding of who you are, what you wish for in your life, and what she is to hold for you as your health goals.
