IHS at RIQI's Wellness Fair

Stephanie was invited to attend Rhode Island Quality Institute's annual health fair on Wednesday. Employees stopped by to learn more about mindfulness, mindfulness-based stress reduction (mbsr) and our new worksite programs.

 

Elements of MBSR offers 30-minute guided instruction on either mindful meditation, mindful movement, the guided body scan or mindful walking. 

 

Programs can be purchased a la carte or as a complete series.

Always wondered about meditation but just not sure where to start? IHS will be at Brown University's Benefits/Wellness Fair on Wednesday, November 19 from 8am - 3 pm at the Alumnae Hall Auditorium.

 

There will be complimentary guided meditation sessions offered throughout the day as well as giveaways and information on upcoming programs. Please be sure to stop by and say 'hi'.

Weekly mindful meditation class for beginners

Starting October 23rd from 7 - 8pm EST a weekly mindful meditation class will be offered every Wednesday at The Shady Lea Mill in Studio 205 in North Kingstown, RI. 

 

This is a great introduction to the practice of mindful meditation. No experience is necessary. Instruction will be provided during the sit with designated time for questions and sharing.
